Backyard Aluminum Casting Available for Sale

Even as our Bike Shift Lever continues its gradual progress toward perfection, its accompanying book, Backyard Aluminum Casting: for Bike Shift Levers (and Nearly Anything Else) is up for sale. For just $19.99 you will learn how to build your own backyard furnace with just a few easy-to-find materials and can start melting scrap aluminum right away. You will even find the drawings for the Bike Shift Lever in the back of the book.

You can buy your copy through OneStreet.org by clicking Store. You can order a copy through your favorite hometown bookstore. And you can buy it online worldwide through most online book vendors. For the U.S., we’ve found that Barnes & Noble tends to have the best availability.

For those of you eagerly awaiting our Bike Shift Lever, our second mold is back at the machine shop for some refinements and should return by mid-October. If all goes smoothly, we can start filling orders soon after that. If you want a place in the order line, you can pre-order yours through our Store.

Kickstarter Success for Cures for Ailing Organizations!

We did it! Thanks to 47 generous backers, including some of you, we made it just past our funding goal, which means we can now publish Cures for Ailing Organizations. Very exciting!

Sue Knaup, our executive director and author of the book, has begun the final preparations to ensure the layout is ready for delivery to our printer and distributor who will make it available through bookstores and online book vendors worldwide. As soon as publication is complete, you will also be able to purchase your copy through the OneStreet.org website.
