Our Forums and Listserv are some of the most important ways we help to connect our Supporters to share ideas and ramp up efforts for increasing bicycling around the world. If you would like to take part, please sign up as a Supporter today using our Supporter Form to the left. Basic support starts at just $100 per year and includes many other benefits which you’ll find listed on the form. If you are already a Supporter, simply contact us and request to be added to the listserv and/or a forum.
LISTSERV
Our international listserv allows our Supporters to connect with each other, asking questions and offering ideas and resources for increasing bicycling. Discussions are kept at a high level and cover the range of bicycling and organizational issues pertinent to leaders of organizations. This is also one of the most important means we use for determining Forum topics. When certain subjects become particularly popular we spin them off into a Forum.
FORUMS
In order to start a forum, we require at least six Supporters to enthusiastically engage in the topic. We then invite all other Supporters to take part if they choose. We like to have at least of few of these underway at all times. Forum tools include email discussions, webinars, conference calls, and resource and presentation development for sharing discoveries with others. Following the direction of participants, a forum can take place and be completed in a matter of weeks or continue on for years. So long as at least six Supporters are fully engaged, we will support and encourage the forum to continue.
